The Goose was inspired by the artist's nephew, Alon who is sweet and spunky, reflected in a palette of muted mustard and pale blue. Geese have always felt like whimsical characters from the honking, the wing flapping to the slight chaos of the flock. This goose leans into that storybook quality, drawn from the spirit of Mother Goose rather than nature. Fluffy white feathers and a dignified bearing keep him charming, while a bow and a small smile prevent him from taking himself too seriously. The hand-lettered Hebrew typography is rendered in a wavy, bubbly 70s-inspired style, complete with nekudot to support early Hebrew learning.
