Each piece in the Hebrew Nursery Collection is hand-drawn, pairing an original animal illustration with its name in Hebrew. Personalize this piece with a child's name in Hebrew, English, or both or order as-is.
The Bear was inspired by the artist's baby cousin born in San Francisco, whose Hebrew name is Dov — meaning "bear." The illustration reimagines the bear as something softer, peaceful, and warm, with rosy cheeks as a signature detail. The color palette draws from cozy woodland cabins and winter plaids, with a subtle paw print circling the design. The hand-lettered Hebrew typography is rendered in a wavy, bubbly 70s-inspired style, complete with nekudot to support early Hebrew learning.
