Menachem Safrai, third-generation owner of Safrai Gallery, continues a family legacy of sharing the beauty of Israeli art that began in 1935 with his great-grandfather. After October 7, he served in the army for 255 days, during which the gallery saw an 80% decline in sales, and in October 2024, his beloved son Alon was killed in Lebanon while serving in the IDF. Today, Menachem carries on the gallery’s legacy and honors Alon’s spirit, sharing beauty through art while raising funds for life-saving Magen David Adom resources in his son’s memory.
