Tovah Anavian Presser
Meet
In the quiet Judean Hills, just steps from her family home, Tovah Anavian Presser shapes glass and clay into one-of-a-kind treasures. Originally from Long Beach, New York, Tovah made aliyah to Israel and found her creative home in a sun-drenched studio nestled in nature, where the rhythms of the land inspire her every move. It’s a space of calm and creativity, where TAP Art, was born. Here, beauty is not rushed, and every piece begins with intention.
Tovah’s journey with glass and ceramics began more than 14 years ago at Jerusalem’s renowned Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. After graduating, she and a close friend opened their first studio together, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong devotion to craft. Her deep passion for these materials—their texture, weight, fragility, and possibility—has only grown with time.
Each piece Tovah creates is singular, never quite like the one before it. Sometimes, the process flows easily; other days, it’s harder to step into the studio. But again and again, creating becomes a form of healing, a quiet meditation. It’s in these moments that she’s reminded why she started: to bring beauty into the world, to invite people to connect with something handmade, heartfelt, and enduring.
For Tovah, the magic lies not just in making the art, but in witnessing the spark of connection when someone finds their piece—the one that speaks to them, that they’ll bring into their home and hold onto for years to come.
Tovah Anavian Presser, an artist who made aliyah from Long Beach, NY, creates unique glass and ceramic art in her serene Judean Hills studio, blending nature, tradition, and heartfelt craftsmanship.
"Some days it’s harder to step into the studio—but creating always brings me back. It’s where my hands and heart reconnect."
