Tom Bartov
Meet
Tom Bartov, originally from Kibbutz Ramat Hashofet, has been behind a camera since 2008, drawn to the quiet beauty of everyday life and the poetry of light. While living in Tel Aviv, he began sharing his work as fine art prints in 2020, during the stillness of the pandemic, focusing on preserving stories without words.
When October 7 struck, Tom was traveling in Thailand. Wanting to shield his children from exposure to the war, he decided to stay longer. His family quickly fell in love with Thailand, embracing its light, culture, and pace of life. Though they are grateful for the experience, they feel it is soon time to return home to Israel soon.
With a sensitive documentary approach, Tom captures moments as they unfold, exploring unique perspectives and harnessing light to create imagery that resonates deeply.
“I firmly believe that captivating imagery has the power to convey stories in ways that words cannot, leaving an indelible mark and forging timeless connections for generations to cherish.”
Even during difficult times, Tom remains optimistic and committed to his craft. For him, creating art is about seeing differently, feeling deeply, and offering others a chance to experience the world through his lens.
Documentary photographer Tom Bartov captures fleeting, authentic moments and transforms them into fine art prints that tell timeless human stories.
“Seeing with my eyes and heart, I see what everyone sees, but aim to capture it differently every time.”
